Island Sailing’s COVID-19 Policy for Guests, Students and Members

Effective May 18, 2021, The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) announced new mask guidelines following recent CDC guidelines for people fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The OHA said those fully vaccinated will no longer be required to wear a mask in most indoor settings, but only where vaccination status is checked. Island Sailing School & Club will be applying these updated guidelines at our facility cautiously and safely. Students and members who are fully vaccinated* may provide your vaccination card to us, confidentially, so that you can freely move through the boathouse and on the docks without the requirement of wearing a mask. If you do not wish to provide your vaccination card or are not fully vaccinated, ISC asks that you please continue wearing a mask and follow physical distancing requirements while at Island Sailing. We will continue to provide our guests updates as more information becomes available and will continue to comply with all Oregon state guidelines. Thank you!

*A “fully vaccinated individual” is a person who has received both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine and at least 14 days have passed since the person's final dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
